Serious Sam - The Second Encounter (5)

This product has been tested on the following operating systems: Windows NT 4.0 and has a average rating of 5

The last rating (5) has been submitted on 2002-06-01 12:00:00 by Anonymous running Windows NT 4.0:
Just ignore the "Requires DirectX 8" message box. It works fine with NT4 and SP6. My system is a Dual PII-450 with GeForce2MX and this game rocks. No performance problems at all. Smooth as silk at 640x480 and looks great! Obviously Serious Sam 1 works fine too. Get these games they are both cheap and awesome. Haven't had so much fun since Team Fortress Classic. If you have a cable modem these games are awesome for fun CO-OP play, probably the best games ever released that work with NT4. All you need is a hot OpenGL graphics card and you are in serious business!
http://www.croteam.com

However, after first run, need to set colour depth to 256 otherwise it hangs. System = Dell Optiplex GX110 with Voodoo 2 (Monster 3D II) with drivers downloaded from this wonderful site!

Serious Sam Test (5)

This product has been tested on the following operating systems: Windows 2000 and has a average rating of 5

The last rating (5) has been submitted on 2000-06-01 12:00:00 by Anonymous running Windows 2000:
Using a Hercules 3D Prophet DDR GeForce and Nvidia Refrence 5.17 Drivers the game worked very well. However you have to play around with the display options a lot or the game will flicker. I found using 800x600x32 worked the best with Quality as the detail selection. Otherwise everything worked great.
