Rugrats Adventure Game (1)

You can install it with compatibility mode, but it won't run even in compatibility mode (I tried Windows 95 mode, 640x480, and all the other options. I even tried VDMSound but that didn't help)

* Then it complained of missing "winspool.dll". Copy \winnt\system32\winspool.drv to \winnt\\system32\winspool.dll
* Set screen colors to 256

Riven DVD (2)

Received the follow messages:
1) Installed compatibility patch, Riven still doesn't work.
2) It works perfectly under Windows 2000
3) I've got all the current patches installed, and riven doesn't start or even give an error.
3) The compatibility update will only work with the CD version. A new workaround in the compatibility update needs to be added for the DVD exe and dll files. It seems though that only certain systems require the compatibility update to work though.
4) It works great until I install Quicktime 4.0 player. Then it won't start. I haven't found anything to fix this except re-installing Win2k and not leaving Quicktime 3.

Can run Myst under
Windows NT 4.0 (sp3 and later). - Make sure to install the *16 bit*
version. To do this, don't click on the setup.exe icon on the CD or
allow autoplay to run. Go to the setup16 folder on the CD and launch the
file ls_setup16.exe. Follow normal installation procedures. - When the
installer asks you, allow it to install its 16-bit version of Quicktime.
Even if you have a 32-bit version already on your machine, they're
stored in different places and won't interfere with each other. - In the
Display control panel's Settings tab, set your display's color palette
to 256 colors. 16-bit Myst won't run if it's any higher. While you're
there, you may also want to change the display to 640x480, but it's not
necessary for the program to work. - Run and play the game normally. You
should note, however, that any saved games from the 32-bit version will
cause the 16-bit version to crash -- maybe not immediately, but sometime
later in the game and possibly at the most inconvenient time.
